LICENSED BY MOM
Foreign Employee Dormitory Act (FEDA) is passed in 2015 and is passed with the purpose of improving the security, safety, cleanliness of dormitory in Singapore.
Dormitories above the capacity of 1,000 are licensed.
Vobis dormitories have met strict regulations and requirements set forth in the FEDA and are licensed by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM). You can find Vobis dormitory on the list of a licensed dormitory in Singapore on the MOM website.
ISAQ IN GENEVA
Vobis was awarded International Star for Quality (ISAQ) in Geneva convention in recognition of our outstanding business achievements, leadership, quality of service, customer service in accordance with the ISAQ regulations and criteria. The award serves to encourage businesses to continuously implement, innovate and promote quality culture.

ISO 9001:2015
ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization :
1) Needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide a product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
2) Aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
BIZSAFE
bizSAFE is a programme designed to help companies build workplace safety and health (WSH) capabilities. In September 2017, the programme has included SGSecure elements to help companies to put in place measures to manage potential terror threats.
To achieve bizSAFE STAR, company must obtain SS 506 Part 1 or ISO 45001 Certification issued by Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) accredited Certification Bodies.
Non SAC accredited ISO 45001 or OHSAS 18001 certified companies can only apply for bizSAFE Star with “bizSAFE Level 3 Risk Management Implementation Audit Report”.
OHSAS 18001
OHSAS 18000 is an international occupational health and safety management system specification. The specification is comprised of two parts, 18001 and 18002, and embraces BS 8800 and a number of other publications.
The standard follows the structure of ISO 14001, requiring top-level commitment to compliance with legislation, prevention of accidents, promotion of good health and continual improvement.
